HOW TO PLAY A QUIZ

There are 3 ways to play a quiz: choose the one that suits you best.

1) DOWNLOAD IT TO YOUR COMPUTER (recommended option)

This way you get a copy of the quiz saved on your computer, so you can review it or use it anytime with friends or for social events or  fundraising. Because you are not using it 'live' off the internet there is no risk of signal problems. All you need to do is click on the symbol          in the top lefthand corner of the quiz cover; then click on the Download arrow        in the centre of the image.  That's it, the quiz can now be clicked on from the Downloads section of your laptop/PC when you want to play it. You can control the quiz (start, pause, volume) using the controls that appear when you pass the cursor over the surface of the image.

 2) PLAY IT DIRECT FROM THIS WEBSITE:

Just click on the forward arrow          in the centre of the images, above right. Make the picture as big as you want by clicking on the image and dragging the 'handles' at the corner.  Or go to Full Screen by clicking on the arrow symbols        (top right, when you have moved  the cursor over the image to reveal the video controls).  This option is not advised where broadband signal is weak or very variable: use option 1 instead.

3) PLAY IT FROM A DVD available monthly from Q&A: this month's quizzes, all on a single DVD

The Knowledge is a weekly,  all-purpose, general knowledge quiz of the type that has been so successful in pubs, bars, social clubs, PTA social activities, charity and 'good cause' fund-raising efforts, training courses and conferences, and as a 'defrosting' exercise for participants in many kinds of group activity (e.g team-building). It is a universally popular entertainment, educator and stimulant which brings people together in an enjoyable way and promotes social life and communication. It never fails.

Q&A quizzes, by virtue of their visual and audio content, reach all audiences, via media which appeal to all generations. The subject matter provides something for everyone, with a literally unlimited spectrum of questions, from 'birdsong' to 'famous criminals'.

Every quiz lasts approximately 1 hour, with scoring breaks and a 10 minute comfort break in the middle; tie-breaker questions are provided.

Clients may subscribe to live quizzes on a weekly basis or purchase individual DVDs containing a few quizzes to use on individual events.  To view a typical quiz, simply click on the forward arrow, on the sample quiz image

BIG SCREEN DISPLAY

The quizzes can easily be displayed to larger audiences, using a laptop, on widescreen TVs/monitors, via a simple connecting lead with a 'male' HDMI plug at each end, available from Maplins, Currys/PC World or direct from Q&A (state length of lead required).
